Dubai: The National Media Authority Chairman and Minister Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed affirmed that the United Arab Emirates remains a nation with a unique and highly advanced military defense system, emphasizing that recent developments have demonstrated the country’s strength to the world.He made these remarks during a Ramadan Suhoor gathering organized by the National Media Authority in Dubai, attended by leading social media executives, media professionals, and journalists.
During the event, residents shared their views on the unity, safety, and stability of the UAE, highlighting the peaceful environment across the emirates.Speaking at the gathering, Al Hamed reassured that the UAE is under a comprehensive and robust security framework, with people continuing their daily lives normally.
He noted that the country’s leadership is demonstrating strong governance, staying closely connected with the public.“The rulers of the UAE are among the people — visiting shopping malls, restaurants, and public places — reflecting their confidence and commitment to stability,” he said.He further expressed optimism that the current challenges will soon pass, adding that positive developments are expected and the nation will continue to progress without setbacks.
Addressing misinformation, the minister urged residents to avoid spreading false information and fake news, warning that such actions create unnecessary fear among families and communities.“Fake news is not the right approach. Residents must remain responsible and trust official sources,” he added.
