Robin R Singh Launches Cricket Scholarships in Dubai, Honours Young Talents

Dubai, UAE – 13 February 2026


Young cricket talents in the UAE were recognized as the Robin Sports Relations (RSR) Cricket Scholarship Programme officially awarded scholarships to selected students in Dubai.The felicitation ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Ali Bin Rashed Ali Saeed Al Maktoum, who honoured the students and praised the growing development of cricket in the country.

The programme, delivered in partnership with GEMS Education, provides one year of professional coaching, training, equipment, and international exposure to promising school cricketers.
The event took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Deira Creek, attended by UAE national players, school representatives, and members of the cricket community.


Sixteen players were selected from 125 applicants after a rigorous selection process. Lokesh Reddy of Delhi Private School, Sharjah, secured the top position, followed by Advay Ghosh of GEMS Modern Academy, Dubai.
Organisers said the initiative aims to develop future professional cricketers and strengthen the UAE’s growing cricket ecosystem.
